Small Business Profiles – Gregg Zuman & Revolution Rickshaws
“If we could have our funding needs met, really, we could improve and better manage our core business lines, rebrand the the enterprise, optimize internal systems, and build out and maintain key marketing campaigns. If we had additional financing, we could also hire another key manager and incentivize our staff; I could make some part-time workers full-time (and hire more part timers), and overall enable our people to execute more effectively for our clients.”
What does Revolution Rickshaws do?
Revolution Rickshaws provides first-class last-mile logistics and marketing services in NYC. Our clients hail from a range of industries, from event planners to craft food makers and marketers, film production agencies to experiential marketers. Our fleet of citycabs, freight trikes, ad trikes, and novelty trikes provide the primary platforms on which our services suite is performed.
How long have you been in business?
We’ve been in business for nine years, since 2005.
What are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of forging the last-mile delivery business with our fleet of work trikes. It’s incredible to be showing the value of what our specialized equipment and team can do—it’s a resilient, sustainable, pollution-free logistics solution for urban environments that more clients are recognizing as valuable on both logistics and marketing fronts.
What is your biggest challenge?
Finding the sweet spot and niche in the marketplace, and proving from scratch that we can add value with our product, which everyone talks about as a potential solution yet no one else has actually done on the level at which we’re able to execute.
Huge thanks to Gregg Zuman and Revolution Rickshaws for their time and support! We love featuring entrepreneurs and their stories, successes and challenges in our small business profiles. If you have a story you’d like to share, please feel free to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
