For small businesses just getting started, it is common to seek outside help when it comes to human resources. This could come in the form of HR software or a third-party full-fledged professional employer organization (PEO). If you have anywhere between 10 and 100 employees, the latter option is probably best for you—and an organization like Infiniti HR may be able to help.

Infiniti HR provides a full range of HR services to small businesses—making it a plug-and-play HR solution. However, what sets one PEO apart from another is how well they deliver their services, and at what cost. That is what we are going to find out in this Infiniti HR review. By the end you’ll have the information you need to make an informed decision on Infiniti HR.

Infiniti HR: The Basics

Infiniti HR can actually function as a PEO or an ASO (administrative services organization). The difference between a PEO and an ASO is that PEOs co-employ a client’s employees. What this means is that they share liability with the employer, meaning they have a greater incentive to provide quality service that is compliant with federal and state regulations.

Regardless of whether you choose to use Infiniti HR as a PEO or ASO, you’ll be able to pick and choose from their entire catalogue of services. This includes HR consulting, benefits administration, payroll administration, employee hiring and onboarding, risk management, and training and development.

Infiniti HR delivers some of their services through a series of strategic partners, including insurance brokers, business development leaders, risk managers, financial planners, charitable organizations, and human capital management consultants. Some of the more prominent partners include Humana, Aflac, BlueCross BlueShield, Guardian, and PayScale.

Infiniti HR is licensed to operate in all 50 states. Their solutions can work for most small business types. Infiniti HR also provides tailored solutions for franchises, nonprofits, hotels, government organizations, and manufacturers.

That’s the basics on Infiniti HR. Now let’s learn a bit more about all the solutions they can provide to your business.

Furthermore, Infiniti HR offers a variety of time-reporting options, including fax, email, online entry, and submissions from most timekeeping and point of sale systems.

Recruitment Process Outsourcing

Recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) is when an employer outsources part or all of their hiring activities to a third-party organization. Infiniti HR offers a full suite of RPO services, including job profiling, resume collection, job posting, applicant screening, risk management, and onboarding. Infiniti HR also runs reports on your recruiting process, tracking time to hire, candidate quality, and cost of hire.

Furthermore, Infiniti HR can promote your company at career fairs, conferences, and other external recruiting events. Plus, Infiniti HR can administer a variety of different types of interviews, including video interviews and off-site interviews.

Risk Management

All clients who work with Infiniti HR have access to risk-management services, risk consulting plans and safety management systems training. Employers can work with Infiniti HR to create a custom risk management plan in order to foster a safer and healthier work environment.

Specific risk management services include:

  • Workers compensation coverage options with claims administration
  • Safety assessments with recommendations
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other compliance and best practices consultation
  • Safety and risk-management experts who can assist with any related issues

In the event of a workplace injury, Infiniti HR can coordinate medical triage and facilitate the filing of claims, plus manage ongoing claims administration and return-to-work expectations. In addition, on the Infiniti HR website there are a variety of forms available to assist in meeting risk-management obligations.

Training and Development

Through a partnership with the training course marketplace Coggno, Infiniti HR offers their clients access to over 1,000 training courses in an assortment of topics, including HR, finance, technology, business, programming, and security. All courses are offered online via a free learning management system where employers can track and view reporting.

Customer Service

Infiniti HR offers phone support during normal business hours. There is also a page on their website where users can submit a form with an inquiry related to their service.

Infiniti HR Pricing

Infiniti HR does not provide specific pricing information on their website. Instead, pricing is quote-based, and determined by factors like the type of services you require and the size of your organization. For payroll, pricing is affected by the frequency with which you run payroll.

According to the customer review website G2 Crowd, Infiniti HR ranks in the 28th percentile in terms of cost for HR management—making it one of the more low-cost solutions on the market.

Infiniti HR Pros

Given everything we have gone over, here are what we see as the benefits of working with Infiniti HR:

Expertise

Infiniti HR was founded by a team of HR professionals with years of experience in the industry. This level of expertise is apparent in the consulting services Infiniti HR provides. Employers can get help with everything from writing their employee handbook to improving organizational communication. It isn’t all that common for an HR service to offer such a personalized level of service.

Employee-Friendly

Infiniti HR is considered one of the more employee-friendly HR services for a variety of reasons. There is an employee portal where users can access payroll information, insurance enrollment, retirement plan administration, and other information related to pay and benefits. Employees also get a large selection of benefits options through Infiniti HR thanks to their connections with national and regional benefits providers. Furthermore, there is a large support team available to employees to answer all of their HR-related questions.

Infiniti HR Cons

While there are some great features of Infiniti HR, here is the most common complaint about the Infiniti HR system:

Clunky User Interface

In numerous reviews, users have complained about a clunky user interface that makes it difficult to navigate their HR platform. In particular, users say it is difficult to find the functions they are looking for, and that pages load slowly. This issue is also apparent on the Infiniti HR website, which feels fairly outdated.

Infiniti HR Reviews

Here is how Infiniti HR ranks on major review websites:

Infiniti HR reviews skew overwhelmingly positive. Multiple users report that Infiniti HR has provided them with a tailored service that has helped them save time and money. Other reviewers say their employees are very satisfied with the benefits options Infiniti HR is able to provide them. Another area of praise was Infiniti HR’s customer support team, which is able to provide in-depth consulting and implementation services, according to users.

Infiniti HR Alternatives

If you’re not sold on Infiniti HR, here are two other HR services to compare it to:

Gusto

Gusto is one of the most popular HR services for small businesses with up to 100 employees. When you sign up for Gusto, they’ll handle your direct deposit, check payments and tax filings, plus integrate directly into many common business accounting software programs to help you manage your paperwork and organization.

Gusto also offers services to manage onboarding, including offers and e-signing, as well as  insurance, commuter benefits, and 401(k) and 529 programs. Pricing for Gusto starts at $12/user + $39 flat per month for the mid-tier plan. There is also a free trial.

ADP TotalSource

One of the larger and more established PEOs is ADP TotalSource. Over 500,000 employees in the U.S. are currently co-employed by ADP TotalSource—and with good reason. On ADP TotalSource’s all-encompassing platform users can perform a myriad of tasks related to onboarding, payroll, benefits, insurance administration, scheduling, recruiting, and performance reviews.

ADP TotalSource is also accredited by the IRS and the Employer Services Assurance Corporation. Pricing for ADP TotalSource is quote-based, and varies widely based on a business’s credit rating, workers compensation rating, and health insurance experience.
