In the age of big-box stores and multi-national conglomerates, it’s easy to get nostalgic for the bygone days spent at your local Main Street business. You might think of a "Main Street" business as one of the essential establishments that frequently make up the center of town. Some of the oldest ones have rich histories and are beloved businesses. They're very similar to small-town businesses and tend to be very central to the community in which they're situated.
